ALAS (America Latina En Action Solidaria) is oranizing a Latin Aid Live to benifit the children of Latin America. The only detail that was made public is that it will be in 2007. However, there will be a similar event prior to the Latin Aid Live. On May 24th at Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles Juanes, Sanz and Carlos Vives will perform to benifit young Colombian land mine victims. I checked the Event Tickets Center and I could not find details about the concert. I can’t go anyhow. Anyone know details about May 24?

Sometimes I wonder: Why can’t we have funky buses like these in North America? I ride the bus to school and I sometimes wish they had buses like these in El Salvador. I also think that the drivers in El Salvador are better than the ones here in Vancouver. Sometimes I think that it is the braking system on these buses up here. I don’t know why? But many drivers break really hard and there are times when I almost fall. Many times I have to hold on with both hands so I have enough strenght to hold myself up when the buses break. There are times when I think the bus driver is having a hard day and takes it out on us passengers.
Yesterday I was cleaning our fridge. We had some mole or chocolate spill under our vegetable drawer. I had a glass shelf in the sink. m When I turned it to wash the other side I hit the corner of the counter. The shelf disintegrated into small little pieces like this picture. I was so mad because I was being so careful. I wish I had take a picture because it looked very beautiful. Now I got to a new glass shelf for a kenmore fridge.
