On March, 12 Stan Grentz passed away. He suffered a terrible brain hemorrhage. The first time I got to see Stan was at a Regent Forum where Charles Ringma and Darrel Johnson discussed “A Generous Orthodox” by Brain McLaren. It was the first time I saw these three guys together. They had a wonderful sense of humor and it was fun to watch them interact. I know that he was looking forward to March Madness because he and another student from NC were talking about basketball. It was great to see Stan’s passion for Christ and communicating to popular culture. I was looking forward to seeing Stan more around Regent. This is a big loss. I pray for comfort for his family and friends. We will miss you Stan.
Brian McLaren’s Reflection will give you further insight to Stan.
