I have been so busy I haven’t had time to blog.
But I had to write about this today.
I was looking for a phone card in Vancouver.
I got to a gas station and a guy asked me for some change to make a phone call. He looked a little too nicely dressed to be a homeless guy, but he smelled like alchohol. I reached in my pocket and pulled out the first coin that I found. It was a loonie ($1 CDN coin). He went into the gas station and got changed and was going to give me the change back. That is the first time anyone h as ever offered to return change after recieving all he needed. Wow! I should have spent more time with him talking, but I wanted to get a phone card and return to my car before the meter ran out. It seems like in Vancouver even the beggars are friendly.
